New Building - Corporate Campus

980,000 sq.ft. – 85 acres

Vance Brown constructed twenty 2-story buildings on a former municipal landfill. The buildings utilize pile-supported foundations, steel frames and precast concrete exteriors.

Vance Brown was assigned the lead role in the project by the property owner/developer. Numerous regulatory approvals were required from over fifteen separate federal, state and local jurisdictions.

The project was completed in phases with special attention to possible landfill hazards, anticipated soil settlement, gas migration barrier, gas detection monitoring systems and double contained HDPE water lines.

Vance Brown constructed the tenant improvements. Interior finishes such as this are distinct examples of creative designs that enhance the working environment.

Sitework requirements were extensive. The site was re-contoured and all new infrastructure, including roads and utilities, were constructed.

Westport Office Park devoted more than 45 acres of the overall site to landscaping.
