Vance Brown Builders constructed this groundbreaking 190,000 square foot Net Zero Energy LEED Platinum headquarters facility for Delta Electronics, showcasing our expertise in sustainable construction. The building incorporates cutting-edge environmental technologies including a 616kW solar photovoltaic system with Delta's own high-efficiency inverters, generating over 1,000 MWh of electricity annually.
The facility features an innovative geothermal heating and cooling system with ground source heat pumps connected to a loop field of pipes up to 30 feet underground, reducing HVAC energy consumption by 60 percent compared to traditional systems. Designed by J.J. Pan & Associates, the building later achieved LEED Zero Energy certification in 2023, becoming the first such facility in Fremont and only the second in the entire Silicon Valley Bay Area.
