Home of Champions
The Stanford Home of Champions is a repurposed 18,000-square-foot space within the existing Arrillaga Family Sports Center that was transformed from a former basketball gymnasium into a dynamic athletics museum and hall of fame by Vance Brown Builders.
The project involved extensive interior improvements to create a living, constantly-evolving space designed to celebrate more than a century of excellence and innovation in Stanford Athletics, featuring over 40 displays with interactive media, video display rooms, and display platforms.
Designed by Nashville-based experiential design firm Advent, the facility showcases unprecedented interactive elements including custom books listing all 14,998 Stanford athletes from the past 126 years, with RFID technology that activates digital displays when books are placed on interactive tabletops.
Vance Brown Builders successfully executed the complex renovation that transformed the existing sports facility into this state-of-the-art museum space and celebrates Stanford’s rich history of athletics.
