The construction involved manipulating the existing precast skin, adding an additional floor, and providing major seismic enhancements, requiring the building to be reduced to a skeleton before introducing its new use with an entirely new MEP system and interior layout. The five-story facility is built on the former site of the Old Maguire Jail and now houses ten major bureaus under one roof, creating a more accessible and modern facility for community services.
