The Connie & Kevin Chou Hall is a $60 million, six-story, 80,000 square foot academic building constructed by Vance Brown Builders and designed by Perkins & Will, completed in 2017.
The building is specifically designed for flexibility and change, featuring state-of-the-art technology and flexible spaces aimed at transforming the student experience, including eight classrooms that can be converted to different configurations and 28 study rooms with configurable seating.
Chou Hall has been declared the "greenest academic building in the United States" and caps the two-phase reconceptualization of the Haas School of Business. The building includes a 300-seat event space with sweeping views of the San Francisco Bay Area, serving as the hub for public activities where the Berkeley Haas community can network and engage with faculty, alumni, and business leaders.
