The Escondido Village Graduate Residences (EVGR) consists of four post-tensioned concrete framed buildings ranging from 6 to 10 stories, providing 2,434 beds across 1.8 million square feet.

The project employed an innovative total precast concrete solution utilizing approximately 14,700 prefabricated precast panels, which Clark Pacific manufactured off-site and integrated with structural components and exterior cladding to achieve both the desired Stanford campus aesthetic and enhanced seismic resiliency requirements.

This prefabricated approach saved over 65,000 man-days of on-site work and enabled completion of the building installation in just 11 months — achieving an estimated 30-40% time savings compared to traditional cast-in-place construction while significantly reducing campus construction disruption.

The official opening was in 2020 marking the completion of what was described as Stanford's largest-ever housing development in it’s history.
