The Stanford Board of Trustees approved construction of a structural steel cover over the Arrillaga Tennis Center–Taube Pavilion, with Vance Brown Builders serving as the contractor and KSH Architects as the architect. The weather-protected tennis courts serve both competition and recreational purposes, and can also provide a covered backup venue for large university events.

The recently-completed Taube Pavilion represents a state-of-the-art interim facility located across the street from Maples Pavilion and adjacent to the Graduate School of Business. Adjacent to the courts is a two-story tennis pavilion providing locker space for home and visiting teams, support and coaches spaces, a conference room, and restrooms, with a trellis over the second-level roof terrace creating a social gathering venue.

Since 1932, Vance Brown Builders has been at the forefront of building Silicon Valley's innovation.
